The Plaza Hotel Kalgoorlie

We had a stylish deluxe king room with an incredibly comfortable bed, the hotel is conveniently located next to a restaurant and close to the city center.

The hotel is clean, has views of the town. The units are spotless and updated with balconies.

Overall clean and wonderful relaxing hotel with marvellous view over town. Location: excellent and perfect, close to the main attractions, the main shopping area of Kalgoorlie within walking distance and other restaurants. Also, in the restaurant Sunday evening. Good for a long weekend.

This venue has been recently renovated and kept very clean, with a highly efficient staff providing exceptional customer service.

Close to town centre. 24 hour reception. In-house movies. Clean room and bathroom. Upon check-in we were upgraded to a larger room which was nice but that was where the good service ended. Housekeeping ladies were lovely.

Breakfast finished at 9:30am on a saturday! No water at breakfast, milk was tepid and apple juice watered down. BBQ not functional. I stay at a lot of hotels for work and I know the room service is a rip-off but the room service menu at this hotel was exceptionally expensive.

The 24hr Reception was great as both nights we arrived after 2am and were let in right away. The location was very convenient to the main street and the hotel overall was fairly clean with the only down side being the useless pillows. Would definately use this hotel again when in town.

The Plaza Hotel Kalgoorlie is impeccably clean, with a friendly and efficient team that provides exceptional customer service. the rooms are updated, modern, and lovely, with functional bathrooms. the breakfast is served at 8:30. Honestly, I have no complaints at all.

The hotel was ideally situated for shopping and eating out. As it was very hot the lovely swimming pool was very welcome. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Good restaurant, outstanding food, people working here are extremely friendly! The location is magnificent and unbeatable, 1 mile from Hannan Street. The service is very efficient, includes private parking.

It's a pity but the water pressure was very poor.

Loved this pleasant hotel with well-experienced and very helpful staff. Possibly the best customer service in Kalgoorlie. the venue had a central location to everything in Kal. Could be great for a long weekend.

Besides, the location was comfortable for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of Goldfields Arts Centre. The breakfast was hearty and warm, the check in was fast.

Features as seen on the internet, room dated but clean and well presented

Very dated decor for the price, really due for some modernisation. Price quoted on the internet included breakfast but then told at breakfast time it was only continental breakfast, I opted to pay extra for the breakfast I thought I had already paid for, when it arrived it was ok but the standard was at the lower end of the scale that I would have expected. I complained at having to pay a 1.5% levy for paying by credit card, main reason being is that credit card is the payment of choice for hotels as it guarantees that they get paid for everything that the hotel guest uses, why penalise the guest for your advantage? Also the hotel would only be paying around 0.5% for the credit card use, so its just a money grab!, This alone would make me think twice about using the hotel again. I travel all over the world, and for hotels to charge a cc levy is very uncommon.

Super clean unit with all you need like an electric kettle and a fridge. the bedrooms are nice and the bathroom is spotless! 🌟.

The Plaza Hotel Kalgoorlie is conveniently situated near the historic Main Street, main attractions, and the railway station. Guests can enjoy a great pool area and a hearty breakfast featuring fruit, poached eggs, and juice.

Price was far too high. On internet we found out that the hotel was fully booked and just one room available. This was not the case!!! Zo we had the wrong information and based our decision to book Ibis Kalgoorlie on that totally wrong information! For the first night we had to pay 200 Aus dollar and for the second night 300!! We asked for the reason and the receptionist said it was because of the time of year.... Unbelievable! It is no holiday season and no public holiday. Furthermore we had to pay extra for Wifi / internet. In most hotels this is An extra service and those hotels are all much cheaper! So we regret our choice very much and Will never come back to this hotel.
